CBS/Showtime Takes Pacquiao vs. Mosley Match


Showtime and Bob Arum closed the deal last week and it was decided. CBS and Showtime will take the highly anticipated boxing event of the year - Pacquiao vs. Mosley match which is scheduled to happen in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 7, 2011. That's right, Showtime will the channel that will be handling the promotion and telecast of the fight. This brings new life to the highly criticized welterweight event.

It was previously reported that a lot of people don't like to see Mosley to fight Pacquiao and this causes a lot of mixed opinions from different critics and boxing analysts around the globe. Most of them see Mosley as a veteran, old fighter that will surely can't keep up with Pacman.

However, this latest development will surely bring more highlights and exposure to Pacquiao vs. Mosley which will surely bring more viewers from around the globe - boxing followers or not. If compared to previous network, CBS/Showtime combo got more audiences and this will surely bring more viewers and higher PPV returns for both the boxers, TV network and the boxing promotions.
