Pacquiao Takes Rest on Training for 10-10-10 Pasig River Run Event

Manny Pacquiao takes a rest on his training in Baguio City to participate and support the environmental run dubbed as "10.10.10 A Run for the Pasig River" where he participated the 10K run. The event was organized by Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig and the run is considered to be the largest footrace ever happened in the Philippines with over 100,000 actual runners who participated the event. The crowds gathered at 3 starting points in SM Mall of Asia (MOA), CCP Complex, and Ayala Avenue in Makati.

Aside from Manny Pacquiao, other Filipino celebrities participated the event such as Luis Manzano, Piolo Pascual, Karylle, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Francisco, Jovit Baldivino, and Bugoy Drilon.

Pacquiao described the Pasig River as a gift from God that we should protect.

This participation of the people's champ shows his concern to the environment and I guess this 10K run will surely add or boost his stamina for the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Margarito on November. Kudos to you idol!
